PRIVACY STATEMENT

The Company will, in the course of its primary object of recruiting clinical staff for the 6 private hospitals belonging to HCA International (HCA), obtain personal information from you or from 3rd parties, relating to your professional training, education, qualifications, experience, health, professional affiliations and security profile (the Information). The Information is required for and will be used only to enable the Company to carry out its primary object.

The Company will take all reasonable steps to ensure the Information is kept confidential, secure and protected from unauthorized access or use. You are aware and agree that the Information will be submitted by the Company in the exercise of its primary object to HCA in order to enable HCA to access your application for the position for which you apply. HCA effectively upholds principles for the handling of information that is similar to Australian National Privacy Principles.

In applying for the position you agree:-

1) to the Company obtaining information from the Australian Police, your personal medical practitioner, the training and education institutions attended by you, the Federal Government for information in relation to work permits, any other related industry or institution which may hold information of a sensitive or personal nature.

2) to the transfer of the Information to HCA;

3) that if the Information is not passed on to HCA, your application for a position will not be processed;

4) That the disclosure of information regarding your health and police status is necessary, both to prevent a threat to yourself and to public health and safety;

5) to HCA contacting you directly to process the Information for the purposes of interviewing you for the position for which you apply

In accordance with the Privacy Act, you can access the Information about you held by the Company and advise if you believe it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

The Company will take all necessary steps to correct this information as soon as possible. You can request access to the personal information that we hold by writing to :

TERMS OF USE

Having regard to the purpose for which you provide the Information to us and which is transferred to HCA by us, you further acknowledge, undertake, covenant and agree that :-

1) All information you provide will be accurate, up to date and true;

2) If any information is found to be inaccurate, out of date or untrue, both HCA and ourselves may incur loss, cost, expense and damages;

3) You indemnify the Company and hold it harmless in respect of any such loss, cost, expense and damages that may be incurred as a result of any information being inaccurate, out of date or untrue.

4) While the Company will make every endeavour to assist you in obtaining the position for which you apply, neither the Company nor its officers or directors give any warranty whatsoever as to the success or otherwise of your application and you will have no claim against the Company whatsoever should your application be unsuccessful.

5) The Company disclaims and excludes to the maximum extent permitted by law, any liability to you or claim or action in respect of :

a) any action taken or not taken or reliance placed by you on the job profiles placed in our advertisements and / or their content and you hold the Company harmless in regard to any claim, action, loss or damage you may suffer as a direct or indirect consequence thereof;

b) the use by you of this website;

c) breach of your computer security; and

d) transmission of any computer virus.

6) The Company makes no warranties or representations regarding the quality and accuracy of the job profiles provided, although every effort is made to ensure that the positions advertised on our website in the various categories are up to date and accurate at all times.

7) No agency, partnership, joint venture or other relationship whatsoever is created between you and the Company by your searching this website or applying for any position referred to therein.

8) If you submit your application to HCA you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the Company's terms and conditions and agreed to be bound thereby.
